Pimples Flaring Up?

DO SCRUBBING, DISINFECTING, AND DRYING CHEMICALS EVER WORK?

Do you panic when you get a blackhead, whitehead, pimples, cyst, or other imperfection?

The booming skin care industry has led you to believe that you need to get rid of your naturally produced oil by applying burning chemicals in order to avoid those imperfections. These chemically infused products actually end up worsening your skin condition and increasing the likelihood of oiliness and breakouts.

WHY?

Your skin naturally produces an oil called sebum. This oil maintains the skin’s natural pH balance and also helps protect and moisturize it. Without this protective film of sebum, the skin is not only more susceptible to bacteria and infections (acne), but it also sends the message to your skin that it needs more oil. This results in excess oil production and more breakouts.

Many known cleansers not only remove dirt and grime accumulated during the day, but they strip the skin of its own sebum, which leaves you feeling tight and dry but with the appearance of this undesirable oil.

THE OIL CLEANSING METHOD- ESPECIALLY FOR OILY SKIN

What about applying oil to cleanse your face?

For people with oily skin it might appear as counterintuitive, but one of the methods that has been under the spotlight recently is the method of oil cleansing.

The logic behind the concept of the oil-cleansing method (OCM) is that the oil used to clean and massage your skin will dissolve the oil that has hardened with impurities and is stuck in your pores.  The OCM will remove all the grime, without stripping your skin of its sebum, while simultaneously moisturizing the skin and protecting it.

PURE OIL, COLD PRESSED AND UNREFINED OIL HEALS

If you want a supple, soft and radiant complexion avoid mineral oils found in cheap products; instead cleanse your face with a pure, cold pressed and unrefined oil and apply it using this method:

  1. Rub a small amount of oil with your hands
  2. Massage the oil onto your dry face so that your cleanser can bind with excess sebum, makeup and grime.
  3. Use a hot wet washcloth to steam your face, and allow your pores to release dirt.
  4. Wipe your face

This causes more hair than normal to fall out. The follicles will stay in this phase for several months, but the hair will begin to regrow in winter when Mother Nature thinks you need it most.
